Professional experience

Philip is a Partner at Nexia Christchurch where he works primarily in our Business Advisory division. Since joining Nexia in 2015, Philip has developed expertise in transaction advisory, guiding clients through buying and selling businesses, and providing support with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Philip works with clients across a range of industries, with particular experience in construction and manufacturing. Known for his pragmatic approach and personable style, he enjoys understanding the unique challenges of each business and developing tailored strategies to drive growth and performance.

In 2024, Philip received the ‘Hall of Fame’ award from the University of Canterbury School of Accounting and Taxation. This award celebrates alumni who have demonstrated remarkable success in their accounting careers within 10 years of graduating.

Outside work, Philip enjoys spending time with his young family and friends, and he is an avid football supporter who also enjoys hiking, hunting, and fishing.
