We also offer plenty of social opportunities, including sports teams to join, firm-wide activities, and team events.
As a Graduate, we will encourage your progression and development, provide you with varied and challenging work, and support you to gain your professional qualifications.
As you step into your new job, you’ll start with mock jobs designed to help you transition smoothly from university to the professional world. These mock jobs allow Grads to apply the knowledge and skills they’ve gained during their studies to real-life work scenarios, building confidence and practical expertise. To ensure ongoing growth, we provide monthly graduate training sessions, as well as fortnightly firm trainings, offering valuable opportunities to enhance skills, stay updated, and navigate the challenges of a dynamic work environment. With these resources, graduates are set up for long-term success and continuous development in their careers.
On your first day you will meet the other grad’s. So don’t worry! You are not alone.
The great news is all of the new grad’s sit together for the first few months, so you will have your fellow grads with you while you settle in. We know it’s a big step when you start your first job, and your new career, and we will support you every step of the way.
You will also be introduced the your team, and then you will meet your buddy.
Next you will be shown our systems and IT and all of your log-ins will be set-up. You will also be given your own laptop and will be shown around the key elements of the technology you will be using everyday.
Then it’s onto lunch and you can kick back and relax in the lunchroom or you might like to get outside and take a relaxing walk in Hagley Park.
There are also lots of places within walking distance of our building to grab some lunch or a coffee.
Applications should be emailed to graduate@nexiachch.co.nz including your CV, cover letter, and academic transcript by 30 March 2025.
Please note whether you would prefer a Business Advisory or Audit position.
The start date of these roles would be early 2026 and is based in our Victoria St office in Christchurch.
